Nobody Knows Anything: Investing Basics Learn to Ignore the Experts, the Gurus and other Fools

The following is a personal opinion, I do not receive any financial consideration for my review of the following:

This book is a contrarians bible! Bob, provides a preponderance of historical empirical evidence of costly mistakes made by the dumb masses (Say that fast), time and time again because they follow followers rather than relying on their own intuition. This is an exceptional book on foundational, contrarian investing. If you are seeking to become a generational steward here is a book that will assist you in critical analysis and independent thinking on your endeavor. I found “Nobody Knows Anything” to be similar in theme to the “Richest Man In Babylon”.  Priceless wisdom.  Generational book.

The little man/investor will never get rich by investing in advised market purchases. Advisers get paid, just like the government and Wall Street, whether their advice is right or wrong. In a world where the media, the markets, the politics and fiat monies are all manipulated to meet the rich top percent of people requirements, the little person has only basic common sense and faith in God to go on.
Why get rich? Survival? Security? Of the two, survival makes the most sense, as you can never have security in such a corrupt monetary and political system as we have in the United States of America.
In a national or world crisis, survival relies on Water-Food and a way to protect it, period,Not how much Gold, Money or Stocks you own.
Living in a world based on debt and credit is nothing short of suicide for all involved.

    • William, thank you for your response. I agree with your remarks regarding financial advisors and media, but I would slant that more towards main-stream. I would disagree with your remarks to some degree, in that those that seek to be the little people will have the results they desire. “WE ARE ALL SELF MADE, BUT ONLY THE SUCCESSFUL WILL ADMIT IT -EARL NIGHTINGALE”. The purpose of Proven & Probable is to change this paradigm and ideology. We do cover and educate investors on water, water rights, and agriculture as you reference. And we have pending interviews regarding food and being independent and self-sufficient, but most importantly to become prosperous generational stewards. This is not an endeavor that most will pursue due to a number of reasons, and we accept and just share that our work is public and we are on record with our actions and results. Fiat monies don’t exist, as there are no currencies backed by money (i.e. gold, silver), but there are fiat currencies, the financial elite love to use sophisms to misguide and misdirect the populace with the slightest play on words. If one is equipped with the correct vocabulary the results can be amazing. I am a perfect example, I was born in single parent household, welfare, minority, and I’m an immigrant. GOD allowed me to change myself and my circumstances and I am beyond blessed. That’s why we are here! We desire that what you have grows from our efforts and contributions of getting the most recognized names in the Natural Resource Space. I ask that you please consider subscribing. Maurice
