We’ve designed an exclusive opportunity for a small group of attendees to tour Grouse Mountain on Monday, July 24th, right before our event kicks off. Attendees will depart the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver by motor coach at 10am, which will take you through Stanley Park and across the Lion’s Gate Bridge for our 45-minute drive to the Sea to Sky Gondola’s Summit Lodge nestled high above Howe Sound near Squamish. You will arrive at Sea to Sky where you will travel ten minutes up the mountain by gondola where you can enjoy coffee or tea before lunch. Lunch will be in the Summit Lodge in the Diamond Head room. The Westcoast design of the lodge offers massive windows and huge Douglas Fir beams making for a cozy place to be to enjoy nature, the surrounding mountains panoramic views while overlooking Howe Sound.

Currently, room rates are subject to the following taxes: Municipal Hotel Tax 11%; Goods and Service Tax (GST) 5%; Destination Marketing Fee 1.5% (both the Room Tax and DMF are subject to GST). Cancellation of individual reservations made up to seven days prior to arrival will be accepted, and the deposit will be refunded for those rooms for the full night’s stay. Reservations and deposits received after Tuesday, June 27, 2017, or exceeding the contracted room block, will be confirmed on a space- and rate-available basis only. Rates are good three days pre and three days post Symposium, based on hotel availability.
